Before the first school bus arrives and the corridors fill with conversation, two familiar figures are already at work. Doors are unlocked. Classrooms are checked. Spaces are prepared with care. Long before the school day begins at Nibras International School, the foundations for learning are quietly set in motion.

With more than a decade of dedicated service, Sayadul Sordar (14 years) and Pradeep Anandan (11 years), are two of the longest-serving Facilities Team members of the Nibras community. Their work may often happen behind the scenes, but their impact is felt in every classroom, every lesson, and every school day.

Witnessing the Growth of Nibras International School

When they first joined Nibras, the campus looked very different. They remember the original buildings, the smaller facilities, and the early days of a growing school community.

“When I first started, everything felt new and full of possibility. We have seen the campus grow step by step. It is something I feel proud of every single day,” Pradeep shared.

Today, the modern facilities, improved learning spaces, and welcoming environmentreflect years of progress. For Sayadul, watching that transformation has been deeply meaningful.

“We have grown together with the school. Every improvement we see reminds us that we are part of something important for the students and their future,” he shared.

Creating a Safe and Supportive Learning Environment

Their roles go far beyond maintenance. They ensure that classrooms are safe, resources are ready, and the environment is welcoming. When something needs fixing, moving or preparing, they respond with quiet efficiency. Because of their consistency and care, teachers can focus on teaching and students can focus on learning.

“Our school is built on the strength of its people. Sayadul and Pradeep represent the heart of our community. Their commitment, reliability, and pride in their work create the safe and supportive environmentour students deserve,” Dr. Jay Teston, our School Superintendent, said.

Sayadul and Pradeep’s loyalty to Nibras International School is deeply rooted in the community. Over the years, they have watched generations of students walk through the school gates, some later returning as older siblings and others visiting as proud alumni. Throughout every stage of the school’s growth, they have remained a steady and reassuring presence.

For them, Nibras is far more than a workplace. It is a second home. The relationships they have built with staff, students and parents over the years have shaped their journey and strengthened their sense of belonging within the Nibras family.

“We feel part of the Nibras family. Every smile from a student and every thank you from a teacher reminds us why we are here,” Sayadul shared.
