The Nibras Visual & Performing Arts program invites students on a vibrant journey of creative discovery, offering a dynamic platform to explore and express their talents in music, performing arts, and visual arts. From Elementary School through graduation, learners are guided by passionate specialist teachers who inspire them to unlock their creativity, build confidence, and develop their unique artistic voice.

At our Kindergarten and Elementary School in Dubai, students ignite their passion for the arts by choosing from a range of specialist electives. Guided by expert teachers, they dive into creative pursuits and build confidence as they explore and share their talents.

Music and Performing Arts

Our music and performing arts program introduces students to rhythm, melody, and expression through singing, movement, and instrumental experiences. Students learn to perform with confidence, collaborate with peers, and appreciate music from around the world. Throughout the year, our young musicians showcase their talents in events such as the Winter Extravaganza and Spring Concert, celebrating creativity and school spirit. Students could also join our Elementary choir.

Technology is embedded into classroom learning from the earliest years, helping students become curious thinkers and creative problem-solvers. In Kindergarten, children explore STEM learning through hands-on activities that introduce them to LEGO Robotics, encouraging teamwork, sequencing, and critical thinking from an early age.As students move into the elementary grades, they continue to explore lego robotics using interactive tools that build foundational skills in design, logic, and innovation. These experiences nurture curiosity and confidence, preparing students to thrive in a digitally connected world.

  • Art I - explore the foundations of drawing by connecting elements of art and principles of design, create expressive works, investigate art history, and discover how artists communicate ideas across styles and eras. 
  • Art II - advance creative skills in two- and three-dimensional art through collage, sculpting, and printmaking. Analyze and critique art, tackle challenging projects, and refine personal style while deepening appreciation for visual arts. 
  • AP Art & Design - create unique works through practice, experimentation, and revision. Develop a personal inquiry, demonstrate drawing skills across media, and build a portfolio that showcases mastery of painting, drawing, sequential art, printmaking, illustration, animation, and fibers. 
  • Mixed Media - experiment with diverse art techniques and materials to design original pieces. Engage in art appreciation, critique, and reflection, cultivating creativity, problem-solving, and a strong personal voice.

  • Concert Band I - learn a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument and perform as part of an ensemble. Focus on technique, tone, and music literacy while building teamwork and stage confidence.
