Geography skills, map interpretation, and spatial analysis are woven throughout.
In Grade 10, students focus on US History, examining the nation's political, economic, social, and cultural evolution from pre-Columbian times to the present. Learners analyze key events, movements, and figures, exploring themes such as democracy, civil rights, and national identity.
Opening up to international opportunities
Native Arab students take Arabic A (Grades 9 - 12), refining their communication skills, engaging with complex spoken and written texts, and expressing sophisticated ideas in Classical Arabic.Â
Non-native Arab students take Arabic B up until Grade 9, building listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills, exploring topics relevant to Emirati society.
All students take French 1 in Grade 9, developing the ability to communicate in daily situations, explore French culture and customs, and begin building intercultural competence.

High-performing students rise to the challenge of the Advanced Placement (AP) Program, embracing a rigorous, college-level curriculum designed by the US College Board. AP students commit to ambitious goals, balancing demanding assignments, readings, and projects throughout the year, demonstrating their readiness to excel in higher education and beyond. Admission to AP courses is selective, requiring fulfillment of College Board and Nibras prerequisites, strong academic data, and teacher recommendations.

Students are expected to take the AP exam, a comprehensive evaluation scored on a scale of 1–5. The exam schedule is set by the College Board and AP exams are usually administered in May, while registration takes place during the first week of November. These rigorous exams assess the full breadth of topics covered during the year, challenging students to demonstrate mastery and readiness for higher education.
