NIS is a school where you can be what you want to be. They don't tell you to trot down one path. You have options. They listen to you. It's a really great school.

When I found out my paper got published, I was so excited. I ran to my Psychology Teacher to tell her right away. The kind of encouragement and personalized support that I receive from the school and my teachers is something that makes Nibras stand out as an American School in Dubai. They are focused on helping us grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

There have been many good things happening here at NIS. I'm happy seeing students who I taught many years ago and them remembering things that we did in class together.

Maya

After spending more than a decade at Nibras, it doesn’t only feel like a school it now feels like my second home. The environment here, at Nibras, is very friendly and positive. I believe that a nurturing and caring environment is exactly what all students need in a school, which is why I want to come to school every day. All my teachers are very supportive and are always there to help me, whether it is academically or emotionally. In every class, I am motivated to learn something new and to collaborate with my classmates to get work done. I come to Nibras everyday not only ready to learn, but ready to improve myself, my skills, and to grow into a better version of myself.

I am so grateful to be part of the Nibras community, and I hope to give back in whatever way I can. My time so far in Nibras has been one filled with learning and adjustment, and now with the help of my teachers and peers, I am thriving. Ultimately, I hope my education can be a path for me to help others, just like how Nibras has helped me.

I'm not scared of school anymore. I love my school because I have fun and play. Last year, I was shy. Now, I put my hands up in the class. I also help my friends.
